For the last 9 months, we have been in the process of adopting a child. To our great surprise and delight, this adoption came through much more quickly than we expected. In fact…one month ago we brought home a sweet little boy to welcome into our family.
Because our adoption process is not yet complete from a legal standpoint, we are limited in how much information or pictures we can share publicly (which is why we’ve had to make his face blurry in the picture above); however, if you would like to hear more, please email or call us and we would be happy to share what we can privately!
Many friends and family have asked how to support us financially…so we have put together this fundraiser.
For those of us who joined us in our journey for our first adoption, you know that the financial costs of adoption are great (but very much worth it). The total adoption costs are around $30,000.
Everyone has been so generous to us during the first adoption fundraising, and we are humbled by everyone’s love and support.
