Meet us! The Youngs! Jonathan (30), Jessica (30) and Adlie (almost 2). Jon and I have been married for 5 years. We love to spend our free time taking bike rides, walking to the nearby park, going to our family beach house in Corona del Mar, going to the Santa Ana zoo, and spending time with extended family and friends. If we can be in the sunshine, breathing fresh air, and seeing a smile on Adlies face then it€™s a great day! So why Adoption you ask!? So we have several reasons! But first let me tell you our journey that lead us to you and adoption! Reason #1 - When I, Jessica got pregnant with Adlie I immediately got sick at 6 weeks. By sick,I mean vomiting 20 + times a day until I gave birth. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis (rare condition of your body not tolerating the human growth hormone/severe illness). We were then told because of my placenta failing (due to hyperemesis) Adlie was diagnosed with IUGR causing developmental delays (lack of oxygen/nutrients). She was an emergency induction and at almost 40 weeks weighed 5 pounds. Doctors have told us it is not smart to go through another pregnancy so we began to open our hearts to other options of receiving a child. And adoption was placed on both of our hearts! Reason #2 €“We have several family members adopted and want to continue this legacy for our family! Reason #3€“ Adlie needs a sibling! Adlie is extremely social, loveable, and playful and we want more than anything for her to grow up and experience the joy of having a brother through all stages life brings.
