We have BIG news!
We are adopting a daughter, Zoey Bom from South Korea!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome her into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that our adoption related costs will total up to $45,000. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help off set the adoption costs. So far we taken out a home equity line of credit, sold a car and other various items that we no longer need and are applying for part time work to pay for this adoption of Zoey. We are expecting this $15,000 to cover the final part of the adoption which includes travel to and from South Korea twice with one week stay each time and the one way ticket to bring Zoey home.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
