A note from Don and JaNell:

Hi friends and family!

Our hearts have been through a lot over the last five years, experiencing four miscarriages and two failed IVF cycles, as we tried to grow our family. Though we have experienced great loss, we are so encouraged that we are exactly where we are meant to be and that God is calling us to adopt! We have lots of love to give and cannot wait to experience the joys of another child. Our promise is to love this child, always point them to Jesus, and be the best parents we can be.

We have been matched and travel is set. We are overwhelmed by Gods goodness and His timing.

Above all, if you could cover us in prayer as we travel and continue this journey, the birth mom, and Harper as we prepare to bring home this precious blessing!

    Prayers for Monday

    Baby girl is doing well🩷 We’re so grateful for the continued outpouring of love and prayers. She is already so loved!

    If you could join with us in prayer over tomorrow (Monday August 4th), as the medical team is going to try and wean her. We are hopeful she will respond positively to the weaning and it’d be the next positive step toward getting home! 🏠

    Sweet baby girl- NICU

    August 1, 2025

    To everyone who has prayed and continues to pray over us, Harper, and baby girl, we can’t thank you enough. It’s been a whirlwind and I’m sorry if you have reached out and we haven’t been able to get back to you. Just know how grateful we are for your love and support!

    Baby girl is in NICU and doing better each day, but not knowing how long she’ll be in NICU, how long we’ll be here or away from our home, and more it’s hard. We are confident that God has us exactly where He wants us and will provide. We can’t do a second of any of this with out Him and without your prayers and love. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!
