It's time for another big step of faith in our journey. Those of you who have walked with us through the years know that we seek to continually give God everything we have, and are constantly asking Him what we can do to continually live faithfully for Him.
Adoption has been something on our hearts for years, but during our time serving in east Africa, the orphan crisis became heavy on our hearts. We have prayed for children and workers throughout Africa, we continue to sponsor children in Rwanda, but we believe that it is time for us to step further into the process of caring for children without forever families.
As many of you likely know by now, we are in the process of adopting from Burundi where there is about 680,000 orphans. This number is overwhelming, but what if we could change the life of just one child?
We have a great desire to welcome our next son or daughter into our family, but with this great desire comes a great need. International adoption is a very expensive process. We have already been making many lifestyle adjustments in order to save money for the adoption, but this will truly take a village to bring this child home. We would like to invite you to join us in this process.
Sure, we are inviting you to help financially, but we want to invite you to much more than that. We want you to invite you to being part of the solution to the worldwide orphan crisis. We want to invite you to being a part of growing our family. This is an invitation to be a part of giving the gift of hope and life in a world that needs it. Will you join us?
