We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

Since the birth of Micah, we have both felt like our family is not complete. After having four consecutive miscarriages and seeing the emotional toll it has taken on the boys and us, it seems to us that God is closing the door to expanding our family biologically. Our boys still want another little brother or sister to love! Adoption has been something we have always wanted to be a part of given the Biblical mandate to care for the orphans and the fact that we, as believers, have been adopted through Christ into God’s family. We have a passion to raise children to love and follow Jesus and would love to expand that passion to children God has given through someone else. Lord willing, we are hoping to complete this process (and acquire the necessary funds) in the next two years so our new child can keep up with his or her older brothers!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
