We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfund campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $80,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
Our daughter was released from the NICU last Sunday and after a few days of waiting for paperwork to be approved, we have finally made it home. Our hearts are so full. We love her so much already. <3
We have finally been placed with our beautiful baby girl. She was discharged from the hospital yesterday and we had a magical first night. We are just waiting on our paperwork so we can head home.
We have been placed and have our travel plans made. We will be going down on Sunday to meet our baby girl. I could not be more excited.
Hello Everyone, The long wait is real but 2024 is our year. After many many months of waiting we have made it into the top 20. We are currently 15th in line!! We are so excited and doing everything we can to get ready for our new little one.
These last few months have gotten away from us. I swear we were just approved yesterday and today we have been live for 6 months. This is when things will start to ramp up. Our profile will start to be shown more and more. Our exposure will go up. Before you know it we will be chosen and waiting for that life changing day. I am looking forward to this year and have so many high hopes.
