  May Update

  We are getting close to the halfway mark of our starting goal that allows us to sign with an agency!

  * Market season is winding down soon because of the heat, so we have 3 planned with Mathnasium and 3 planned with @craftycanterdesignco.
  * We sold one pin this week and will be posting more on eBay within the next few weeks.
  * I am finishing a commission project this week and gearing up for the market on 5/31 because we have family coming in next week, so my goal is to have almost everything done before they get here.
  * Hoping to add some new products to my website soon! Keep checking for updates.
  * As always, donation links are open and each donation is extremely appreciated and helps us get closer to our goal.
  * We have a few fundraisers planned, but they will be announced when all details are finalized.

  April Update

  April 27, 2026

  Thought it was time for an update on our adoption journey. I took a bit longer of a pause this time because we had so much going on with our markets, fundraisers, and personal lives. I also know that seeing multiple posts like this too often can be a bit draining, so I hope you understand the delay.

  We had a successful Easter fundraiser with Hearth & Harvest Brunch Co, and we really appreciate their support and willingness to donate their time, products, and efforts. We also appreciate @kedenna and @kenedayvonne for coordinating that.

  This month, we’ve had three different events with Crafty Canter Design Co., which combined for a total of about $200 in sales and gave us lots of experience and connections. We appreciate @alicia020563 for making an sending us some things to include in these. We also appreciate all who shared our posts about them. We did take some time off from our work at Mathnasium. Between the holiday and two of these kinds of events, it made sense to do so. However, we worked back-to-back this past weekend—one day with Mathnasium and one at a market for Crafty Canter Design Co.—and while we are quite tired, we appreciate the opportunity and hope to continue having these kinds of opportunities to raise funds toward our goal.

  March 13 Update

  We wanted to share a quick update and say thank you to everyone who continues to support us on this journey.

  ✨ We have now saved and raised 33% of our initial goal that will allow us to officially sign with an adoption agency. Seeing that progress has been incredibly encouraging.

  ✨ We also received a donation on AdoptTogether this week, and we’re so grateful for the continued generosity and encouragement we receive.

  ✨ 137 tickets were sold for @kedennas and @kenda’s St. Patty’s Day fundraiser, and we are so thankful for everyone who participated and supported it.

  ✨ Crafty Canter Design Co. continues to grow! We now have 40+ products listed, have made three sales and one commission, and have two markets scheduled in April.

  ✨ We’ve also continued working local events representing Mathnasium of Winter Haven, and we’ll be at another market tomorrow.

  ✨ We’re also excited to share that Hearth & Harvest Brunch Co. is sponsoring an Easter adoption fundraiser for us. Preorders are open now, with pickup on April 3.

  Every share, purchase, vote, donation, and word of encouragement helps move us closer to becoming parents. We truly couldn’t do this without our village.

  February 23 Update

  Hello everyone 💛
  Lots to update this time!

  Auggie placed 4th in the America’s Favorite Pet competition. While he didn’t move on to the finals, he’ll always be number one in our hearts. Thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and cheered him on — we felt so much love and support!

  We also opened our online shop, @CraftyCanterDesignCo, and we’ve already made two sales — thank you for supporting our small business! There are 36 products currently available, with new items being added frequently.

  Recently we also have:
  • Received another donation to our AdoptTogether fund
  • Sold another pin on eBay
  • Worked two markets with @mathnasium_of_winter_haven and will be at another one next weekend

  Overall, we just want to say thank you. Every share, donation, purchase, and kind word is helping bring us closer to our dream of adopting a child. We truly couldn’t do this without our incredible village.

  If many people give a little — whether that’s $5, $10, or $30 — it adds up faster than you’d think and brings us closer to bringing our child home.

  Looking Ahead

  February 9, 2026

  - Auggie is currently in 4th place in his group in the America’s Favorite Dog contest.
  * Finalist Voting ends on 2/12 @ 7PM PST.
  *After this, Auggie would be competing against other finalists for the title and prize.

  - We are working another event next week for Mathnasium—and this time, Auggie will be there in person!

  - Kedenna and Keneda will be hosting another raffle in March, this one St. Patrick’s Day–themed. More details coming soon!

  - I have officially begun the process of converting CyR Designs & CyR Design Shoppe to Crafty Canter Design Co LLC.
  * Product links are live through our LinkTree, with new items added regularly.
  * We plan to begin selling in person at Orlando markets starting in March.

  All donation links remain active, and every contribution—big or small—brings us one step closer to bringing our future child home. If you’ve been considering donating, purchasing, or sharing, now is a wonderful time to help keep the momentum going.
