Nick & Ashley Conte
are adopting a child from United States of America
It is an incredible blessing to us that you opened our fundraising page.
For years, we have set our hearts on adoption, and believe the time is right to move forward. We have prayed, and we have waited, and a door has opened for us to lovingly walk through. Our adoption expenses are expected to be anywhere between $25,000-30,000 towards agency, state and expectant mom expenses. We are hopeful to make up a portion of this, but cannot possibly do it all alone. Therefore, we are humbly asking that you would pray and consider supporting our adoption.

Some answers to your questions
March 16, 2026Hey everyone,
As we reflect on these last few months of our adoption process, we realize that our journey has filled people with questions! Adopting a child can be very complex, and not every adoption looks the same. Some people want to know why we are adopting, who we are adopting, how we are adopting and when we are adopting. These are great questions and we want to take the time to answer them.
Why we are adopting:
We have both always felt a call to adopt, and for years have asked God to reveal to us when it is time to take that step. We believe He has done just that, and are thankful for the opportunity. We will love and treasure the child He has selected for us. We will devote our lives to providing a safe, joyful and unconditionally loving home.Who we are adopting:
We are adopting a South Carolina infant. Our agency assists moms who are considering abortion, or who have many of
their children in the foster care system already. The child we adopt may or may not have special needs. We feel blessed that the Lord would allow us to care for a little one experiencing the trauma of adoption. When we felt called to adopt, we knew that God had selected a child for our family- one He knows so very well, and loves so deeply, that He is preparing a family for them before their birth. How we are adopting:
While there are many agencies available, including our state's social service office, we have chosen an agency run by previous adoptive parents that focus their plan of care on creating a loving environment for the Expectant Mom, an affordable route for the waiting family (Truly, as much as they can!), and a healthy transition for the orphaned baby. When we are adopting:
The most difficult thing to predict in a domestic infant adoption is the timeline. The national average is 2 years, and our agency average tends to be under a year. We began our adoption journey in December 2025, and are currently (as of 3/16/26) not matched with a mom, though this can change any day.We hope this information helps you all to better understand where we are in our adoption journey. We have peace as we wait, and want to thank everyone who has donated. As a reminder, the money we receive is not our money. It goes to our agency and is a direct gift to helping an orphan establish a family. As we continue to fundraise, we ask that you would continue to watch our progress and pray over additional donations.
God bless,

Impact More with your Money!
February 25, 2026Hey everyone,
Starting now through the end of March, any donation over $40 will also result in a donated lasagna to a local family in need. With help from our local church, we are locating hurting families and bringing them home cooked lasagnas. How cool is that?? This extra form of service will only be sponsored through the month of March, and will hopefully help us to get to where we need to bring a child into our home.
God bless,

Update 3
Upcoming Fees
February 23, 2026Hey everyone, we wanted to give an overview of our upcoming expenses as we wait for a match.
$5500 remaining agency fees
$6k-$8k for an attorney
$0-$10,000 fees to assist the Expectant mom with expenses (medical, rent, grocery, etc)We have a couple hundred to work with right now and a few different fundraisers going on. It is easy to look at what we have and realize it is definitely not enough to supply what we are being asked of, but then we remember the loaves and fish. In Matthew 14, Jesus stood before over 5,000 hungry people. He took 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, and he fed them all. The Lord can do a lot with a little.

Update 2
Where we are..
February 2, 2026As we continue to wait for baby, we wanted to share some life updates.
We have been preparing our home for a little one. Josie is very excited about becoming a big sister and has been active in helping around the home.
God has shown up in MIGHTY ways throughout this process. It was an answered prayer and an open door that put us in the adoption process in November 2025. Since then, we have seen God fill our needs weekly as we prepare the proper paperwork and requirements due. Most recently, He supplied us with a very large dollar amount. More specifically, God sent us the EXACT large amount we were praying for to help us navigate the next large bill in this process (one that covers all of the adoption agency processing fees). Our hearts have been filled with joy and affirmation as we get a front row seat to see the sovereignty of God.
Coming up: The next big expected funding will be to cover our Expectant Mom's cost of living. As it is with every household, this will be a monthly withdrawal that will kick in as soon as we are matched. We do not yet have the money for this, but we trust that the Lord will send aide through people.
We are attaching a photo that anyone is welcome to share with friends & family to help us fundraise. You are also welcome to share the web link with others. Any amount, big or small, is a huge blessing in our eyes.
Thank you for reading,
