We are absolutely thrilled and so excited to announce that we’re adopting a little girl!!!! We have been planning and praying for this for 14 years! Big sister is SO excited and can’t wait!! Some may already know our families story and medical journey with River. Little Olive is also living with some additional medical needs. We believe both our girls are miracles. We would love for you to join us on this journey of bringing little Olive home! We are working with an amazing non profit adoption agency that has gone above and beyond for us.

It was an amazing day! The final document arrived this afternoon and as soon as it did we dashed to the post office to over-night it! We got word today that we’re so close to completing the adoption that we will probably not be getting any more updates like height, head size, meds etc. while this is a bit disappointing…..I’m choosing to be overjoyed that we are THAT close to bringing Olive home!!
What an amazing day!! Finally!! After what feels like a million phone calls, emails, and determination….we have the approved I800A in hand!! I am SO thankful!! We’re waiting on one final document which I’m just believing will arrive next week and then we can submit the dossier!!!
We are officially all finished with the International Home Study and have moved on to completing the immigrations paperwork on the US side. Since we’re just lacking one page for immigrations, we’ve started getting the dossier completed. Thankfully we already have certified copies of all the important documents necessary except for Jake’s birth certificate-so I requested that this morning!
The next anticipated monumental news is expected the middle of October when we hear the ruling from the Ministry of Justice. We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support our family has felt!
Oh my stars we are just amazed with the amount we have gotten done in the last week! This morning Jake and I got our finger prints done!! Then all 3 of us have applied for our passports! You guys we should have them in hand in 5-7 weeks!!!!! This is huge as we will need our passports to submit our completed dossier packet!! We are several steps closer to bringing Olive home!
