Devin and Erin Foust

are adopting a child from United States of America

We have BIG news! We are in the process of adopting a child! We are so excited and are doing everything we can to prepare for our growing family. In addition to applying for various grants, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related fees can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that comes with this beautiful journey. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up.

    She’s Here!!

    January 24, 2026

At long last, our baby girl is home.
After being told she’d most likely come a few weeks early, we and our families spent the Christmas season on pins and needles waiting for the call. However, this lil peanut decided she was perfectly comfortable to wait it out and made her debut on January 12th, two days before her due date.
The first ten days of her life and our new lives as parents were spent in the NICU. We and her birth mom had lots of time to love and snuggle her through that journey. Although ten days in the hospital aren’t fun for anyone, we’re grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from the best nurses before starting our new lives in the real world.
We are home and settled now! We are tired but so very happy.
There aren’t words to thank everyone who helped us get to this point. After all this time, it feels almost too good to be true.
Welcome to the world, Maeve Lynda Rose!

    Final Ultrasound!!

    November 7, 2025

We had our final ultrasound with A and baby M yesterday. Baby looks perfect and A is feeling okay other than M kicking her constantly and making her sciatica flare up.
This was the 30-week ultrasound, so next time we see our daughter will be in person!! I can’t believe we’ve come this far.
Devin and I continue to have a wonderful and close relationship with A, and we consider her part of our family. Our hope is that baby M will know much of her biological family as she grows up. We know that having more people to love our little girl is nothing but a blessing.
Please continue to pray for A’s comfort and our nerves as we prepare for this beautiful change!
Ten weeks still feels like forever to us, but it will be here before we know it!!

    Halfway There!

    August 28, 2025

We had our 20 week anatomy scan today. It’s hard to believe we are halfway there!
Baby M and birth mom (A) are both doing great. Everything is developing as expected, and there are no known issues, praise Jesus!
We were able to see baby M from all angles, as she is quite the wiggle worm. A says she can tell that baby M is going to be an active little girl!

Please continue to pray for A and her health and well-being. The relationship we’ve developed with her is really beautiful, and I’m so happy to have made a lifelong friend through this open adoption. This journey has been a huge leap of faith, but this match has been a dream.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting us through this process! We love our village. 🩷

    It’s a GIRL!!!!

    July 29, 2025

    Update

Hi, everyone! Can you tell we’re excited?

As you know, we had our first ultrasound recently, and our birth mother, whom I will refer to as “A” from now on, also had genetic testing done. Everything came out clear and normal, and the testing also showed the baby’s gender. Our mentor, “S,” has known the sex all along, and A found out by accident when reading through the testing results.

We could have found out at that time too, but S wanted to throw us a gender reveal, so we decided to wait a couple of weeks when Devin and I would both be home from visiting family all over the country.

On Sunday, July 27th, Devin and I met A, S, and four of our friends at a beautiful park for the big reveal. We opened a pink and blue box, and out popped the pink balloons!
I was absolutely floored! A had previously referred to the baby as “he” when we were having lunch, and I really thought she had slipped up and given it away. It turns out she had been saying “he” since she found out she was pregnant, so it was just habit!

Although I would have been so happy for a boy, I’ve always secretly wanted a girl. So of course I cried ALL the tears. The Amazon registry is looking much pinker now. 😉

We don’t have the words to express our gratitude for A and her brave, selfless decision. It means so very much to us that she is involving and celebrating us every step of the way.

Experiencing infertility, I never thought I’d be able to do the ”normal” exciting things that come with pregnancy. Fortunately, we have the best agency, friends, and birth mother. We also have an amazing community providing love, prayers, and support, and that is all of you!!

Thank you for being our village.

    Baby is Growing!

    July 15, 2025

We had our first ultrasound two weeks ago, and it was magical to see our little baby moving around! At the time, the baby was 11 weeks and 2 days along (size of a fig), and tomorrow we will be 13 weeks along. Our little babe is about the size of an avocado!
Our official due date is January 14th, so a couple of months later than we thought. However, this gives us more time to prepare physically, mentally, and financially for this life change!
Our wonderful birth mother and our adoption mentor know the gender, and the mentor is throwing us a gender reveal at the end of the month. Neither of us has a preference beyond a healthy baby. Luckily, the genetic testing also revealed that baby is all clear of major health concerns as far as we know.
We cannot thank you enough for the support we have gotten from you all! We plan to send a birth announcement to each of you when the time comes. Keep in mind that if your donation is anonymous, it is anonymous to Devin and I as well! If you've donated anonymously and would like to receive a birth announcement, feel free to send me a message.
I attached a photo of our little fig playing peekaboo for your enjoyment!
