We have BIG news! We are in the process of adopting a child! We are so excited and are doing everything we can to prepare for our growing family. In addition to applying for various grants, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related fees can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that comes with this beautiful journey. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up.

    It’s a match!

    We have the very best news that we’ve been waiting for!!!! We will be bringing our beautiful baby home in November!!!!
    The mother who chose is us so so wonderful, selfless, sweet, and just all-around amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her and this brave decision she is making. She is even allowing us to be at ultrasounds to follow baby Foust’s progress!
    Even though we just started this process in February, it feels like it’s been much longer. We have faced lots of days of waiting to hear news, a few decisions that didn’t go the way we wanted, and have faced difficult decisions of our own.
    But here we are, able to experience the majority of the miracle of pregnancy due to the giving and open nature of the birth mom who chose us. God knew this was the baby for us, and we are so grateful to birth mom for allowing us to be part of her journey.
    We have a long road ahead of us, but we are so happy to be lucky enough to walk it.
