  Thank You!

  June 8, 2026

  Thank you to everyone who donated, shopped, and supported our adoption fundraiser garage sale!

  We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our family, friends, and community. We received so many donations that we ended up extending the sale to a second day, and it was an incredible success!

  Because of your support, along with the funds we've saved and additional donations we've received, we have now reached more than $30,000 toward our adoption journey.

  We are truly grateful for every donation, every purchase, every prayer, and every word of encouragement. Your kindness and support mean more to us than we can express. Thank you for walking alongside us as we continue this journey to bring our child home.

• Update 9

  Adoption Garage Sale Tomorrow!

  May 15, 2026

  It has been a very full and busy spring around here, and we realized we have not shared an update in a while - including a big one! In late March, we officially reached our goal and were able to go live with our preferred adoption agency (the same agency we adopted our son through). That was such a meaningful milestone for our family, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us get there through prayers, encouragement, donations, and support along the way.

  Back in February, we mentioned that we were planning an adoption fundraiser garage sale, and we are excited to say it is finally happening tomorrow from 8am–6pm at our house. We have been so blown away by the generosity of friends and family who donated items, helped us prepare, and encouraged us throughout this process. Every item sold and every donation received will go directly toward bringing our baby home and helping with the many remaining adoption expenses ahead.

  Thank you for continuing to walk alongside our family through this journey. We truly could not do this without the incredible community surrounding us.

• Update 8

  Going LIVE!

  February 24, 2026

  We have some exciting news to share.

  We are officially LIVE with one agency! This means our profile is active and can be shown to expectant moms. It feels incredibly hopeful to have reached this step in our journey.

  Even more exciting, we are now just $5,000 away from being able to go live with our preferred agency, the same agency we adopted our son from. That agency holds such a special place in our hearts, and it is also a larger agency with more potential for matches. Being active with both agencies would significantly increase our chances of being matched and bringing our baby home.

  To help fund the remaining costs, we have applied for a line of credit and have already submitted two grant applications. We plan to continue applying for additional grants in the coming months, doing everything we can to reduce how much we need to borrow and to move forward in a responsible and intentional way.

  We are also planning an adoption fundraiser garage sale this spring. If you are already thinking about spring cleaning and have gently used items you would be willing to donate, we would be so incredibly grateful. Every item donated and every purchase made will go directly toward closing that remaining $5,000 gap.

  None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of those who have donated, supported, prayed, shared our posts, and encouraged us along the way. Because of you, we are closer than we have ever been.

  Home Study Complete!

  January 24, 2026

  We’re so thankful to share that we are officially home study approved! This feels like such a huge milestone, and we’re incredibly grateful for God’s faithfulness in carrying us to this point. As we look ahead, we’re beginning the process of applying for adoption grants, which are funds given by organizations to help families cover the significant costs of adoption. These grants play an important role in making adoption possible for our family as we prepare to complete the final steps and go live with an agency. We continue to trust God’s timing and provision and are so thankful for every prayer, word of encouragement, and support along the way.

  A Word of Thanks for 2025

  December 31, 2025

  As we close out 2025 and step into 2026, our hearts are full of hope for what’s ahead. We’re continuing to trust God’s timing for this adoption process, even when the details are still unfolding.

  This past year included a lot of behind-the-scenes work—raising funds and managing finances for this adoption journey, and finally completing the paperwork portion of our home study after a December full of sickness and unexpected delays. It wasn’t always easy, but we’re thankful for the progress we were able to make.

  We’re so grateful for every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every person who has walked alongside us on this journey. Thank you!
