Adoption is something we have carried in our hearts for a long time; even before being married.
Now, having spent time in prayer, conversation, and deep discernment, we believe God is calling us to open our hearts and home to a child in need of a family.
Many of you have asked us how you can help. Here are some ways that you can join us.
Prayer This is the most important way that you can help us! The adoption process is long and at times, challenging. Your prayerful accompaniment would mean so much to us.
Sharing Share our journey, and this page, with your family and friends.
Fundraising Adoption can total over $50,000. While we are making great sacrifices to self-fund our adoption, we may need help meeting some of the financial obligations along the way. We are grateful for any gift you feel led to make. (Donations through our Adopt Together site are tax deductible, and can only be used for adoption related expenses with the oversight of "Adopt Together")
Thank you for taking the time to join us on our journey. We are so grateful for each of you!
Love,
John, Mandie, Rosie & Matthias
If you know of any wine lovers, share this with them!
We've partnered with our friend Dana who works for OneHope Wine to do a fundraiser together - 10% of every wine purchased will go into this AdoptTogether fundraiser!

First, John and I (and Rose & Matthias of course) want to express our gratitude to all those who have donated so far! We weren't planning on crowdfunding. In fact, the thought of it made us a little uncomfortable. But.. someone told me if people want to help, let them. So, I'm glad we started this. We have spent the last few months picking up shifts at work, selling items we no longer want/need, etc., to help save for the adoption. Your generosity helps to take the edge off of that! You all mean so much to us and to little Khanjian #3!
This week we received our home study packet. The home study is basically the major clearance needed before you can be approved to adopt. Our packet is almost 50 pages long! It includes some of the following: write an autobiography, 4 references (one from a neighbor), fingerprints for criminal background check, medical clearance for all members of the household, meetings with a social worker, adoption training courses (hours and hours), etc. Adoption is much more involved than we ever thought it would be, but we plan on taking the process one step at a time so as to not overwhelm ourselves too much!
We are so grateful for each and every one of you and look forward to updating you all along the way!
Continue to share this page with family and friends!

Amanda & John
We received this book in the mail without a note. Thank you to the kind person who loves this child already and started their book collection.
Saying a special prayer for you today!
