Adoption has been in our hearts for many, many years, and in mid-April of 2023 we sensed the Lord's leading to begin to take steps towards making this a reality for our family. We have completed a thorough application process through Choosing Hope Adoptions and six weeks of in-person training at their location to better equip us as prospective adoptive parents. Soon, we will apply to the state and begin the home study process. The average domestic infant adoption costs about $40,000. With this in mind, we are so excited that you would consider partnering with us financially! We have contributed towards this number to get to this point in the process, and are now seeking your partnership to get the rest of the way there! Hello! We have been waiting on the Lord's perfect timing for our next steps within the adoption process and this week we got some exciting news!
We were told two things:
1. We can pursue the profile book making step. We will work with a company to create a profile book that will be shared with prospective birth mothers.
2. We will hear from our social worker in June and officially start the home study process!
Please continue to pray with us over the relationship we hope to have with the prospective birth family and for us as we continue to prepare for a new little one within our home and family.
