We are excited to announce that we are adopting!
We are looking forward to adding baby #3 to our family! We are working with Christian Adoption Consultants to adopt an infant here in the States. The consultant group is a different route than we have gone before as they connect you with a wider pool of agencies and lawyers and, hopefully, we can expect a shorter wait time although there are no guarantees. Currently we are working through our home study (our official paperwork to be able to adopt) and our family profile book (this will be provided to expectant mothers as a way to get to know our family).
We would appreciate your support and prayers in this process. We are excited but also know that the journey is full of ups and downs and is completely out of our control. We would take specific prayers for: *All our paperwork to come together smoothly *Finances and support - we expect the cost to be $40-$50k. We are reaching out to our community for support and will also be applying for numerous grants. *Peace, patience and wisdom in the waiting *God's wisdom and protection for the birth family and baby

Our girl 💛💛 Winnie Sage
We got the call August 25th that we'd been chosen to be this sweet girl's parents, we were thrilled! We thought we had a month to prepare for her arrival but on Thursday afternoon we got the call that we should book our tickets and get ready to meet her the following day! We hopped on a plane that night with heads spinning and full hearts. I had the immense joy of being a support person with her birth mother and was able to be with her when she was born (😭💛 so much joy, healing and dreams fulfilled in that delivery room). Brad and I were the first ones to hold her and have been able to bond and care for her in the hospital. We are in love with her!
Everything has been so smooth. Winnie is doing great and birth mom has been so sweet and honoring. She is so incredibly strong and we are in awe of the love she has shown for this baby in the middle of hard circumstances. We are so blessed to receive such a gift from the Lord.
Please pray for all our paperwork to go through quickly so we can bring her home to meet brother and sister and the rest of the family.
