Are you ready for the news?

We are adopting a baby!!!

After the storm of 2023 settled and our own fertility journey ended with my hysterectomy due to Adenomyosis, we began praying in earnest about something that had been on our hearts for a long time.

Our family wasn’t complete and God was calling us to adoption.

Exciting as it may be, did you know that infant adoption in the US typically costs $65,000+!? Imagine our shock at that information! But God is still calling us forward and this presents a unique opportunity.

They say “it takes a village” and, while I know you’d love to bring a lasagna after baby is here, something much more urgent presses currently.

If you would stop right now and please take a moment to pray about partnering with us financially to bring Baby K home, it would mean the world to us. We are relying on the power of the Father and the movement of the Holy Spirit around us and in the lives of those we know to make this prayer a reality!

Now, I’m not incredibly great a closing statements so I’ll simply leave with this: thank you. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for partnering with us financially. Thank you for being a part of our story and the story of the precious child God has chosen to join our family!

    Is this for real??

    September 11, 2025

    It’s a BIG DAY and God is ON THE MOVE!
    Today we got the email that we are active and ready to start presenting! Along with that email came a case that we feel God is telling us to pursue! (How crazy is that!?)

    We are so excited to step out in faith and follow where God leads and are eagerly awaiting His movement in our life.

    We are so grateful for the donations we have raised and cannot thank you enough! With the current funds and the generous reimbursement from Michael’s work, fundraising on AdoptTogether and potentially taking out a loan, we are anticipating God’s complete provision!

    God is faithful and we cannot wait to see Him move in all our lives with this adoption journey!

    CERTIFIED!!

    This is one of those moments I will NEVER forget.
    At 1:50pm yesterday our amazing Adoption Agent dropped off our finished home study- WE ARE OFFICIALLY ADOPTION CERTIFIED!!!

    It’s now that the rubber really meets the road, it really could be any time that God brings Baby K into our lives!
    If you’ll pardon me, I’m going to go cry some more happy tears and while I sit on the nursery floor and pray for funding! Love you all!

    Actually almost certified!

    Our home study finally came back to us for review and edits, our caseworker hopes to have a certified by the end of this week! Thank you for your continued prayers. We are so close to going live!

    The last of our specific background checks came back this week! Only 3 more items on the todo list before we are officially certified for adoption!

    This very morning I received the email that we have been approved to work with an Adoption Consultant! This gives us the means to connect with Expectant Mama’s across the US and is *literally* our future connection point to baby!

    Aaaahhhh!!! *happy dance*
