We have some big news! We are adopting!!

As those close to us know, having children has been a desire of our hearts our whole marriage. For the passed 11 years we have been unsuccessful in conceiving. It has been a long difficult journey through infertility with little to no answers. After our last failed IVF transfer, Shane and I looked at each other and said “Ok God, let’s adopt!” The more we have prayed about it, the more we have seen that God loves adoption. We thank God for this journey because it has strengthened our walk with Him as well as with each other.

For the last year we have been recovering financially, physically, and emotionally from all of the fertility treatments. We are proud to say that we are blessed to be out of debt as well! We did not want to go into adoption with a bunch of debt.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. The biggest obstacle we are facing is the adoption-related costs. Did you know that adoption can easily cost $35,000 or more? This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community and family that we hope to build around our child as he/she grows.
