WE ARE ADOPTING!

We are beyond thrilled to be adopting an infant, and we’re doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

Most importantly, would you join us in prayer for this child? We will definitely need our community around us!

As part of the process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to know that adoption costs can top $35,000. We are extremely grateful that our employers’ reimbursement benefits and the federal tax credit will bring down our costs considerably.

We have set a goal of $10,000 to help bring home Baby Reid (hopefully) in ‘23!

    Home study is done!

    April 13, 2023

    Our home study is final and accepted! This means that after our admittance meeting, we will officially be a Waiting Family (and a baby could be placed with us at any time)!

    And yes, in case you were wondering, we are ready for a boy or a girl (or both)!

    We passed the $5,000 mark recently, thanks to all of you and those who have donated outside of this site! We also had a group of friends who purchased our car seat/stroller combo! We truly are blessed beyond measure!

    Home study is underway!

    Thanks to you all, as well as those who gave outside of this website, we are nearly at $2,000 in just the first two weeks of fundraising!

    Also, our home study is underway! We had our first interview with the case worker, and it went great! Next up: Individual interviews, and then a home visit.
