We are ADOPTING! For some this may be a huge surprise but this is something Ethan and I (Aleta) have been praying about for a few years and has been in the works for about 6 months. We are adopting from the country of Ecuador in South America. We are open to a special needs child. Adoption is time consuming and costly. We would love for our friends and family to first be praying for us. Please pray for our marriage, our children, and the child we anticipate to adopt.

We have received our immigration approval! Seems like record time to me! We are so thankful. There has also been a lot of progress on Ecuador's end as well. We are so thankful. Happy Thanksgiving!
This summer our agency required us to do a big home study update as well as it was time to renew our I800A for immigration approval.
Our home study updates have been complete and our I800A renewal has been sent to immigration for approval. Please pray for a caseworker to work diligently and quickly on our paperwork. That we would not need additional information or additional finger printing.

We were awarded a $4,000 grant through gift of adoption!
Please be praying! Our agency FINALLY gave us the green light to mail everything in. We have documents expiring in January and February but they seem hopeful that Ecuador will say it’s fine. Be praying for favor from Ecuador to be ok with the dates. Be praying everything is done CORRECTLY and no more going back and forth.
Be praying for political peace in Ecuador and no shut downs. We are praying that whoever handles our paperwork works diligently and in a timely manner. We are so so ready to meet our boy face to face.
