We are ADOPTING! For some this may be a huge surprise but this is something Ethan and I (Aleta) have been praying about for a few years and has been in the works for about 6 months. We are adopting from the country of Ecuador in South America. We are open to a special needs child. Adoption is time consuming and costly. We would love for our friends and family to first be praying for us. Please pray for our marriage, our children, and the child we anticipate to adopt.

A little update..
We are in a waiting phase!!
We went to STL area Monday to finish up some things for our home study and now more waiting.
We are waiting for a few Dossier documents still to arrive in the mail. With all the ice in our area, hopefully those documents will come in this week.

I’ve requested a lot of documents the past couple weeks and have been working on others. Some are slowly starting to trickle in. We do our FBI clearance next week. 😎 sounds fancy! Lol but more finger prints essentially! We continue to have donations come in and we are so thankful for our family and friend’s generosity!
We are so grateful to have met our goal for the month of November! We anticipate to have our home study finalized in February! Here is Ethan’s end of the deal. A small sacrifice of love from him!!
Happy November! With our grant from October and all the Harvest baskets selling, and tremendous generosity from you all we are making amazing progress with our adoption! We are quickly getting through paperwork for our home study too!
We have a remaining $5,000 to raise to get to our next goal of $13,050 to complete our Dossier and I have talked my husband into something.... if we get to that goal by the end of November!
We’ve met our first goal!! Now to get this home study completed in a timely manner!
