James & Amy Smith

are adopting 2 children from Liberia

🌍 Help Us Bring Our Daughters Home from Liberia 💛

We are Amy and James Smith — a family in Florida who God has blessed, and know He has called us to bless others. Recently, our hearts were forever changed when we were given the opportunity to adopt two beautiful sisters from Liberia, Africa: Christiana (10) and Eliza (7). The Word tells us in Deuteronomy to help the helpless, the orphaned, and the poor. We know that His word is true and we are called to bring Christian and Eliza into our family.

After hearing their story, we knew they needed a family to love and care for them. They needed us and we needed them! These precious girls have walked a hard road that no child should ever endure.

They were abandoned by their mother due to lack of money and food for them, almost 4 years ago and left in the care of their grandmother. But tragedy struck again — their grandmother passed away. With no one left to care for them, they’ve been moved from home to home, already having lived in four different places in just a few short years.

They’ve never been to school, and their days have been filled with endless labor — working from sunrise to sunset, often having only one meal of rice a day.

When we first learned about their story, we said yes immediately. Without hesitation. We didn’t have all the answers or all the funds, but we had something greater: God’s word, faith, love, and the conviction that these girls were meant to be our daughters. God had ordained it!

Since then, we’ve been FaceTiming them every week. Hearing them call us “Mommy” and “Daddy” and seeing the joy on their faces when we get to see each other - this has lit up our lives and melted our hearts. And every week, they ask us the same question that breaks our hearts a little more each time:

“Mommy… Daddy… when are you coming to get us?”

We’ve been preparing every way we can. We’ve recently built a home, and now we have room for our extended family. But after a slow season in our business and pouring our savings into finishing our house, we’ve found ourselves short on the adoption funds needed to bring them home.

We’re doing everything in our power — but we can’t do it alone.

That’s where you, our friends, come in, and the miracles of God.

We’re asking for your help — not just financially, but to join us in something truly sacred: changing the course of two young girls’ lives forever!

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to holding our daughters in our arms. To giving them a home. A family. A future.

And if you give — whether it’s $10 or $1,000 — you will forever be a part of our extended family. We are praying blessings over every person who helps us in this journey. You are part of a miracle! You will be helping us change their world and break generational curses of poverty and abandonment.

Please help us bring Christiana and Eliza home. Help us answer their question with joy:

“We’re coming, sweet girls. We’re almost there.”

With all our love and gratitude, Amy & James Smith Florida, USA
