God willing, our family will soon grow!

To be honest, we thought our home would be a little more full by now, but shortly after Ellie Kate was born we realized that having more biological children might not be possible for us. Although adoption has been on our hearts for years we got hung up on waiting for the “right time”. It’s clear now this has always been God’s Plan A for us—and we couldn’t be more excited!

As we’ve prayed and sought wisdom from other adoptive families, along with our consultant, one big question has been finances. It’s daunting to think that adoption can cost up to (and sometimes over) $60,000. But “…my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:19)

Our goal is to raise $50,000 All of this funding covers home studies, agency and legal fees, birth mother care, and more. Even though our journey only just began in August, we have seen God’s hand writing this story for years. He is so kind, and it is evident in the way He’s cared for us so early on in the process. We believe He will be faithful to finish what He’s started in this. (Phil 1:6) We are choosing to lean on Him even when it sounds scary.

God has not been shy about proving His character to us. (Ps. 116:5) He is faithful. He is good. And He cannot be anything but that. (2 Tim. 2:13) As we move forward, we trust in God’s perfect timing and His plan for our family. Our hearts are open to twins or a sibling group, and we can’t wait to witness how God’s story for our family unfolds. This is a journey we’d love for you to share with us.

    Big Update – We're Officially in the Pool!

    April 16, 2025

    We have some amazing news to share — we are officially on the list with a few adoption agencies, which means the door is now open to receiving adoption situations from them!

    It’s wild to think that we could be viewed by expectant mothers any day now. This part of the journey feels both surreal and incredibly humbling. After so much preparation, paperwork, and prayer (and your generous support!), it’s starting to become very real. ❤️

    We don't know when or how things will unfold from here, but just knowing that our profile could be in front of someone soon—someone looking for a loving home for their child—fills us with hope and gratitude.

    This week has been full of paperwork! We've been busy filling out 6 different applications at adoption agencies across America. We are so excited to see what comes of these agencies. They were the ones that stood out the most to us as we were reviewing the multiple different options Christian Adoption Consultants offered.

    Home Study Ready!

    March 21, 2025

    While we've been enjoying spring break with family we got the formal word that we are home study ready! We passed and are onto the next stage!
    Now we have dozens of agencies on our list to research and pray over which ones to apply to. Please join us in praying for wisdom on where to apply, the fees associated with each application, and the wisdom on when to present to potential mothers.
