We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

Hello everybody!!
As some of you know, we were waiting for a match for adoption after several submissions. Still, unfortunately, our agency will be closing by the end of August due to unfortunate issues.
BUT! We already found a new agency, and we're working on moving all the paperwork, training, and filling new applications with them, along with any new classes that the new agency might require.
Yes...another roadblock in our journey to adopt, but it's ok.
It will be worth it.

Thank you for your continued support and for following us on our adoption journey.
As of right now, our case worker has been changed, and we're in the process of completing our annual training.
We were considered for at least 4 cases in the past months, but DFPS didn't choose us. (Priority is given to the foster parents who already have the child.)
But we're still here.
Tomorrow is another day.
Life goes on, and we will keep trying every time there's an opportunity.
We are closer than yesterday.
