We are so excited about building our family through adoption and we can’t wait to meet the children that God has already chosen to be Belfields.

    HOME STUDY PHASE!!!

    November 18, 2024

    We're so excited to be starting the home study portion of this journey. It's scheduled to take 2 months but we're go getters and plan to set everything else aside and focus on this. Please Pray that we are able to get everything accomplished in a timely manner and that we'd be able to raise the needed $3,200 to complete this phase.

    Agency Selection & Application

    November 13, 2024

    On November 1st, we turned in our application (see photo). We will be working with a local agency here in Wisconsin called ECFA. They will walk with us through all of the state requirements, training and licensing. We will also complete our home study with them which is a series of visits to our home and requirements we need to meet in order to adopt. We hope to start that soon.

    To further our reach and to hopefully adopt a bit sooner, we have decided to work with an adoption consulting firm called Mustard Seed. They will be able to get our profile out to 60+ agencies around the country.
    As soon as our home study is complete, then we are eligible to start receiving cases. We're hoping for early 2025. Stay tuned.
