We are adopting!

We are beyond excited to announce that we are adopting a baby!

We have walked a hard road of loss and grief the past 2 years with 4 miscarriages, but have hope in the Lord on this new journey we are on. After much thought and prayer, the Lord has led us to domestic infant adoption.

As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowd funding platform to help raise support. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. We are working hard to raise the first $25,000. We are asking for your help to raise the other $25,000.

In order to reach this $25,000 goal, we are doing a puzzle fundraiser. A puzzle is a great symbol of ALL the people (pieces) we need to help bring our baby home, plus it’s a great keepsake for years to come.

It works like this: We have a 1000-piece puzzle and we are “selling” each puzzle piece for $25. You can buy 1 piece or multiple pieces. There is no limit! Once you purchase a piece, we will write your name on the back of one of the puzzle pieces. Once every single piece has been “sold,” we will put the puzzle together and hang it in a double-sided glass frame in our home so that we can always look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” of bringing our little one home!

If you wish to make an additional donation above the $25 price of a puzzle piece, simply put the desired donation amount in the box and proceed to process your payment. The other amazing thing that you could do to help would be to spread this news! Please share it with your families and friends.

  • Update 10

    We’re home!! 🎉

    September 3, 2025

    After 2 weeks in Florida, including 9 days in the NICU, we are home. We are getting settled into life with a newborn.

    We are beyond grateful for ALL the love and support we’ve had these last few weeks and truly throughout our journey! The Lord has blessed us with such loving friends and family!

    We ask for continued prayers as we settle in as a family of 3.
    We pray for bonding and attachment to Elliana (which we have already seen).
    We pray for continued health and growth for her as well.
    We pray for rest as we’re adjusting to life with a newborn! 😆

    Discharged from NICU

    August 28, 2025

    Thank you for ALL your prayers!!

    Elliana got to be discharged from the NICU on Sunday. She is feeding great and gaining weight.

    We are just hanging out at our Airbnb until we get clearance to come home to Colorado.

    It’s been a whirlwind of a few days!! 😆

    We have a daughter!! 🩷🎉🩷

    We named her Elliana Courtney.
    Elliana means “God has answered!”

    We have seen His hand throughout this whole process! It’s has been a long journey and she is the BEST prize! God is good and we are so thankful for His blessings!

    We will be here in Florida for a bit. She’s in the NICU working on feeding! Prayers for continued success to get us home!!
